#1300T Reflective White Roof Coating

#1300T White Plastic is a liquid acrylic emulsion formulated to cure to a flexible waterproof membrane.  The cured product has excellent tensile, elongation, flexibility and recovery properties.  #1300T WHITE PLASTIC quality products for roofing and waterproofing are time tested since 1975.

PRODUCT USES

#1300T is the specified white reflective finish coat for the Recycled Rubber Roof System.

ADVANTAGES

#1300T cures dry and does not soften with the heat of the sun and does not become brittle.  The elastomeric properties provide elongation to move with the expansion and contraction on the roof.

SURFACE PREPARATION

The surface must be dry, sound, smooth and clean, free of dirt, oil, grease, asphalt that is not cured dry, or  any contaminate that would adversely affect adhesion, free of blisters and water ponding.  The roof surface must be properly sloped to drains and eaves.  Cants and tapered edges are to be sound and pre-formed to a 45º angle.  Do not apply over wet roof insulation.  If existing roof is not dry or sound, tear it off.  Remove all loose roofing from parapets before applying reinforcing fabric with #1300T.  Do not apply over asphalt based aluminum or silicone coatings without applying an oil based primer that will adhere to silicone coatings.

APPLICATION

#1300T White Plastic is applied at the rate of 100 sq. ft./gal for each coat.  Application is with nylon paint brush, paint roller or commercial airless spray equipment.  The reflective white finish coat may be tinted with universal colorant to pastel shades.
