If plaster is shifted at the crack, fill in the crack and sand the surface to an even plane.
Cover the area at the crack with latex paint and apply Paint Bridge over the wet paint. Immediately apply another coat of paint over the Paint Bridge and allow to dry.
You now have the option of applying a thin coat of drywall compound or finish coat of paint over the fabric.
