WC-14 Fiberglass Mat:

WC-14 Fiberglass Mat is a porous, non-woven mat composed of lime borosilicate glass fibers.  The fibers are reinforced with chopped strand fiberglass yarn and bound with an acrylic binder.  The unique random, jackstraw pattern of the glass strands makes WC-14 fiberglass mat strong yet flexible and provides resistance to the cracking and crazing of the underlying substrate.  The mat increases resistance to impacts and abrasion and is rigid enough to bridge cracks and holes when adhered with #2500 coating.

WC-14 non-wicking fiberglass resists rot, decay and other effects of moisture better than reinforcements made of organic fibers.  When wet during application, the mat maintains its dimensional stability.  Lightweight and nonflammable, WC-14 is also more economical than the organic or polyester materials used in similar applications.

#3600 Top Coat

Formulated for interior and exterior use, the #3600 Acrylic Top Coat provides a high hiding, waterproof, tough and flexible finish.  The top coat is especially useful where excessive moisture may be encountered.  And, the #3600 coating also may be tinted to obtain pastel colors.  #3600 as the finish coat over the #2500 is an option.  We do recommend using it when you have a high moisture area such as baths and kitchens and when the application is exterior.  The surface burning test results shown include the use of #3600 as a finish coat.
